A free version of the game Mercury Mind.

Mercury Mind is a word association game, where the goal of the game is to guess which words are related to the other words in the game. Every word (or phrase) is related to at least one other word, and the associations between the words or phrases are meant to be things you come to think of upon hearing the word.

If you are a fan of crossword puzzles, or puzzles in general, Mercury Mind is definetly something for you.

For example, if the game would show the word "Monkey", you might associate it with words such as "Banana", "Gorilla", "Monkey Wrench", etc. These words will then in turn associate to new words, which all will be somehow connected to each other.

The game features multiple levels with a varying difficulty level. The levels grow in size from about twenty words up to over a hundred words so this game is sure you keep you entertained for a long time.

Gameplay:

Your guess can be entered by either clicking on an already revealed word, or by clicking on an unrevealed word which shows up with "-" marks in it.

If you click on a word that has already been revealed your guess will be matched against every word that is associated from that word.

If you click on a word that so far hasnt been revealed your guess will only be matched against that word.

If your guess is partially correct, so that the first letter(s) of it match the word in the puzzle, then those letters will be revealed to you.

If you wish to get a better view of a level you can zoom in and out of it.

Example

You have revealed the word "Monkey" and it shows up with three relations from it. You click on the word "Monkey" and type in "Banana" and press Done. This will reveal the word "Banana" in the map (and show all the links leading from "Banana"). After that you again click on the word "Monkey" and type in "Monkey Island" and press Done. This will reveal the text "Monkey ------". (Since the association to Monkey Island wasnt present)

Scoring:

You score points for every word you have guessed correctly and also for all the letters you have matched in the words. As you get more and more points you will open up access to new levels with a varying difficulty level.

Full Game:

If you like this game, please purchase the full version of it, it includes new levels such as the Comics & Cartoons and Television Series levels. The levels in the full game are also much larger, the largest containing much over 100 words.
